Overview

Retail point-of-sale systems with real in-store hardware sync — built on years of hands-on POS development for physical shops.

A point-of-sale system lives or dies on the counter: if it is slow, if the printer fails, if stock does not match the shelf, staff stop trusting it and the business stops trusting its numbers. Hands-on POS work therefore starts with the hardware — barcode scanners, receipt printers, cash drawers — and with the daily close, returns and stock movements that a real shop does every day. The online store and the counter then share the same stock, so a sale in either place is a sale in both.

What is included

  • POS software for retail & service counters
  • Barcode, receipt printer & hardware sync
  • Stock, returns and daily closing reports
  • Online store + in-store POS synchronization
  • Clear written proposal before work starts
  • Launch support period included

Tools and platforms used: WooCommerce POS, PHP, Hardware sync, MySQL.

How it works

  1. Counter & hardware audit. Your hardware, products, pricing and daily routines — before any software is chosen.
  2. POS build & hardware sync. Sales, barcode, printer and drawer sync, with stock, returns and daily closing built in.
  3. Store sync & testing. Online store and counter tested together: one sale, one stock change, one daily total.
  4. Training & go-live. Staff trained on real sale, return and close flows, with support through the first live weeks.

Who it is for

  • Retail shops and service counters with physical sales
  • Businesses selling both in-store and online
  • Shops whose stock never matches their system
  • Teams needing fast daily closing and returns handling

Frequently asked questions

Will it work with my existing hardware?

In most cases, yes — standard barcode scanners, receipt printers and drawers are supported. Hardware compatibility is checked in the audit, before build, not after.

What happens if the internet drops?

Offline behaviour is planned in the build: sales must not be lost because a connection failed. The exact approach depends on your hardware and store setup.

Can POS and my online store share stock?

Yes, and that is one of the main reasons to build them together. One stock record, updated by both channels, ends the daily stock mismatch.
